Bechar 006 is a remarkable lunar meteorite recovered in Algeria and classified as a feldspathic breccia from the Moon. Its journey began far beyond Earth, when a powerful impact on the lunar surface launched fragments of Moon rock into space. One of these fragments eventually encountered Earth and survived atmospheric entry, becoming part of the geological record preserved on our planet.
